1. We begged the Bani Zuheir at Al-Ridab
And by the mountain passes, passes of mountains

2. Yet Al-Ridab remained their abode
And they were not companied at the sands

3. So if our tongues attain Zuheir
It would suffice their wanderers for nights to come
