Has a ruined dwelling stirred your longing,
A station revolving around you has rendered me sleepless,
at Dhāt al-Ṭulūḥ, as far as Kāthirah?
In the land of palms, towards numerous dwellings.
وَخَيلٍand horses تَكَدَّسُprancing بِالدارِعينَwith the armor-clad men

And horses prancing with armored riders,
And horses crowding at the abode, two by two,
like ibexes walking on high ground.
Like the gait of ostriches upon the apparent terrain.
