أُنادي بِرَكبِ المَوتِ لِلمَوتِ غَلِّسوا

أُنادي بِرَكبِ المَوتِ لِلمَوتِ غَلِّسوا

فَإِنَّ تِلاعَ العَمقِ بِالمَوتِ دَرَّتِ

فَإِنَّ تِلاعَ العَمقِ بِالمَوتِ دَرَّتِ

I call to the riders of death: set out for death before dawn!

I call upon the caravan of death to death be steeped

For the ravines of al-ʿAmq have flowed abundantly with death.

For the grinding of the depths is with death seasoned
