والعيدِ لَوَجهُك قِبلَتُهُ

والعيدِ لَوَجهُك قِبلَتُهُ

وسناك بهاهُ وبهجتهُ

وسناك بهاهُ وبهجتهُ

By Eid, your face is indeed its qibla.

Your face is the direction of Eid's prayer

And your radiance is its splendor and its delight.

And your teeth are its joy and delight

عمَّت بحماك مسرَّتهُ

عمَّت بحماك مسرَّتهُ

وزَهت بعُلاك أَسرَّتهُ

وزَهت بعُلاك أَسرَّتهُ

Its joy has spread throughout your realm.

Your protection has spread its happiness

And its features have shone with your glory.

And your highness adorned its secrets

فالقُطرُ يموج بساكنهِ

فالقُطرُ يموج بساكنهِ

والبشرُ حُلاهُ وحُلَّتهُ

والبشرُ حُلاهُ وحُلَّتهُ

So the land surges with its inhabitants,

So the rain waves in its stillness

And gladness is its adornment and its robe.

And people are its beauty and adornment

والنيلُ تصفِّق موجتهُ

والنيلُ تصفِّق موجتهُ

وبمدحك تشدو نغمتهُ

وبمدحك تشدو نغمتهُ

And the Nile's wave claps,

And the Nile claps its waves

And its melody sings your praise.

And sings your praises in its melody

والجمعُ ببابكَ محتشدٌ

والجمعُ ببابكَ محتشدٌ

ونَداكَ مُناهُ وكعبتهُ

ونَداكَ مُناهُ وكعبتهُ

And the crowd is gathered at your gate,

And the masses gather at your door

And your bounty is its desire and its Kaaba.

And your call is their destination and Kaaba

يدعو بدوام بقا مَلِكٍ

يدعو بدوام بقا مَلِكٍ

غُرست في القلبِ محبتهُ

غُرست في القلبِ محبتهُ

It prays for the lasting life of a king,

Praying for the eternal life of a king

Love for whom has been planted in the heart.

Whose love is planted in hearts

أعزيزَ القُطرِ وسيِّدَهُ

أعزيزَ القُطرِ وسيِّدَهُ

يهنئكَ العيد وعودتهُ

يهنئكَ العيد وعودتهُ

O mighty one of the land and its lord,

O precious of the country and its master

Eid and its return congratulate you.

Eid congratulates you and your return

فاملك بهناءٍ ما سطَعت

فاملك بهناءٍ ما سطَعت

بسما رمضانَ أهلَّتهُ

بسما رمضانَ أهلَّتهُ

So reign in happiness as long as there shine

So rule in gladness however you shone

In Ramadan's sky its crescent moons.

When Ramadan graced its crescent

واسلم للقُطرِ وأُمتهِ

واسلم للقُطرِ وأُمتهِ

يفديك القُطرُ وأُمتهُ

يفديك القُطرُ وأُمتهُ

And remain safe for the land and its people;

And submit to the country and its nation

The land and its people sacrifice themselves for you.
