Safety from the havoc of illnesses

قد دَعَوها قطرَ الندى وهو لفظٌ
بهby it يُكنىindirect reference is made عنto أَلطفِthe most delicate of الأغراضِpurposes
به يُكنى عن أَلطفِ الأغراضِ
They have called it Qatr al-Nada (“Dewdrops”), a term
It has been called a dewdrop, and that is a name
That alludes to the most delicate of purposes.
With which the gentlest of purposes is implied
فبهاso through it تسلمُremain safe العيونُthe eyes كماjust as تحيىcome to life
فبها تسلمُ العيونُ كما تحيى
بقطرِthrough drops of الندىdew زهورflowers of الرياضِthe gardens
بقطرِ الندى زهور الرياضِ
So through it eyes stay safe, just as life is given
With it eyes are kept safe just as flowers thrive
By drops of dew to the flowers of the gardens.
With drops of dew in gardens and meadows
