سعادُ كلانا في المَحَبَّةِ شاعِرٌ

سعادُ كلانا في المَحَبَّةِ شاعِرٌ

إِذا ما هَوَينا فَالشَواعِرُ ثابِتَه

إِذا ما هَوَينا فَالشَواعِرُ ثابِتَه

Suad, each of us is a poet in love.

The joy of us both is in love, every poet

When we love, our feelings remain steadfast.

If we are impassioned, poems will come easily

وَلكِنَّ فرقاً بَينَنا وَهوَ أَنَّني

وَلكِنَّ فرقاً بَينَنا وَهوَ أَنَّني

أُعَبِّرُ عَنها بَينَما أَنتِ ساكِتَه

أُعَبِّرُ عَنها بَينَما أَنتِ ساكِتَه

But there is a difference between us, namely that I

فَدَمعي شِعرٌ يقرأونَ سطورَه

فَدَمعي شِعرٌ يقرأونَ سطورَه

وَدمعُك أَبياتٌ من الشِعرِ صامِتَه

So my tears are poetry whose lines they read,
