وَالصُخورُand the rocks الأَطوادُtowering mountains وَالأَدواحُand the great trees
وَالصُخورُ الأَطوادُ وَالأَدواحُ
Behold the forest and the lovely streams,
Behold the forest and the beautiful streams
And the mountain-like rocks and the great trees.
And the mighty rocks and plains
هوذاbehold الكوخُthe hut فيin ظِلالِshadows الخَميلَهthe thicket
هوذا الكوخُ في ظِلالِ الخَميلَه
يَتَلاقىmeet فيهِwithin it الشَذاfragrance وَالرِياحُand the winds
يَتَلاقى فيهِ الشَذا وَالرِياحُ
Behold the hut in the shade of the thicket;
Behold the cottage in the shade of the enchanting trees
Within it, fragrance and the winds meet.

هوذاbehold المرجُthe meadow وَالمَواشيand the livestock كَماas كاwere (first fragment)
هوذا المرجُ وَالمَواشي كَما كا
نَتwere (second fragment) وَهذاand here is غُدُوُّهاtheir morning departure وَالرَواحُand the evening return
نَت وَهذا غُدُوُّها وَالرَواحُ
Behold the meadow and the livestock, as they

هوذاbehold الدَلبُthe plane trees وَالغصونُand the branches الخِفافُlight

حابِكاتٌweaving خِيامَهاtheir tents لِلضُّيوفfor the guests
حابِكاتٌ خِيامَها لِلضُّيوف
Behold the plane trees and the light branches,
Behold the vines and the feather-light branches

بَينَbetween طَيّاتِهِits folds وَعنand by جانِبَيهِits two sides

يَهرُبُescapes الماءُthe water بِاِرتِعاشٍwith a tremor خَفيفِslight
يَهرُبُ الماءُ بِاِرتِعاشٍ خَفيفِ
Between its folds and on either side of it,
Between its folds and on its sides
The water slips away with a slight tremor.
Water escapes with a gentle quiver
هوذاbehold النَحلُthe bees خارِجاًemerging منfrom قَفيرِهits hive
هوذا النَحلُ خارِجاً من قَفيرِه
يَرتَديwears الشَمسَthe sun حُلَّةًa robe مِنof بَريقِradiance
يَرتَدي الشَمسَ حُلَّةً مِن بَريقِ
Behold the bees emerging from their hive;

Dressed in the sun's glittering attire
سَكبpoured الغابُthe forest فيinto أَغانيsongs طُيورِهits birds
سَكب الغابُ في أَغاني طُيورِه
