Ah, be safe, O dwelling—what a dwelling,
O house, surrender to the one whose house you are
Be safe, O abode—what a precious abode!
Stirring my joys and memories!
Who stirs my songs and remembrances
It stirs my raptures and my memories,

And I may be shown it, then say, 'Be safe,'
When I see you, I say surrender
And whenever I behold it, I say: Be safe,
For all my wishes and desires.
To bring together my robes and tents
For gathering my hopes and my desires.

A gentle north wind greeted you on our behalf,
Your greeting to us is a lamp lighting the darkness
May a gentle north wind greet you on our behalf,
Traveling by night when the night traveler stops to rest.
That flows when the banner is raised
Traveling by night when the night-traveler rests,
