Carpets and your carriages

14. The land of Damascus will be folded for you
Yearning for your arrival

15. And the roads will be lit for those
Traveling by the light of your brilliance

16. And miracles will appear
Witnessing your devotion

17. And the salty water will become honey
In your cup

18. And in Damascus you will see the greatness
Of elevation you were accustomed to

19. And you will see above your hopes
And higher than your wishes

20. And you will find honor sincere
And pure from your loyal ones

21. And it will show in me what you concealed
Of the beauty of your contentment

22. And heal the sickness of my state
And my infirmity with your remedy

23. And remove the worry from me
And my ordeal with your care

24. Nothing but your affection
Can cure my sorrow

25. And by God's permission when you desire
You will settle for me

26. And my state is gloomy without
The light of your brilliance

27. And so my mornings become
The color of your evenings

28. O reverberation on my land, when you depart
Heading towards your sky

29. When you left I became
One whom you left behind without accompaniment

30. If only I was truly departing
With your saints

31. To see the light of my eyes
And heart from your meadows

32. And to hear it listen
To the sound of your call

33. And to see me praising you
In verse with your praise

34. And exceeding people when I praise you
The highest of your poets

35. And to see my cheek walking
A stride matching your steps

36. I am your slave bought
By your charity

37. By your generous hands
Well known to me by your gifts

38. So remember your promise to me
As I remember your affection

39. How can you forget me while forgetting
Your loyalty is far from you
