1. O you who are harsh in your words
Rather, O you who are unjust in your rule

2. You have wronged your servant in his complaint
Evident and hidden in his blame

3. You have made every sin with his action
Injustice, and every excuse with his opponent

4. So you increased hatred over his hatred
Towards him, rather worries over his worries

5. He is far from your injustice in his complaint
Rather, you are far from his injustice

6. Do not be surprised by the injustice of fate
For nothing has happened except by its design
