1. Patience after you cannot be
And tribulations in you cannot diminish

2. And reason in this affliction
Of the sensible one is madness

3. Miserable is living when you,
O best companion, died

4. O you whom fate commanded
And whom the terminator terminated

5. O you whom destruction demanded

19. That is the evident betrayal
And I stayed bewildered after you

20. I swear the trustee has betrayed
My eyes have no merit should their

You are most precious to the eyes

And blood has flowed from them

23. As if inside them I am smeared
O you who prophesized solace
