1. The God of the universe prevails
While the son of Adam declines

2. They dispute with their Lord
But the Lord does not dispute

3. And they judged Him as forbidden
While with Him they are judged

4. One asks why was He thus?
Another asks why not this or that?

5. They would have been safe had they submitted
He who submits is saved

6. And he claimed that
In knowledge none can contend with him

7. He saw time as emergent
So said it's now outmoded

8. But he did not know that
By his acts he collided

9. He silences yet claims
That he has hidden wisdom

10. Oh, how fine what they brought
If completed, but nothing's complete

11. Unless his war ends
Naught's complete save what's complete

12. Guidance died amongst us
And we're all houses of mourning
