1. Say to the son of Mu'nazzar, may God have mercy on you,
And do not move an inch from your place,
١. قُلْ لإِبْنِ المُعْنَزِّ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ
ولا قُدَّ من أَدِيمِكَ شِبْرُ
2. If beauty has tortured you, it is evil,
Indeed my beloved is better for you and more right.
٢. إِن تكن عذَّبَتْكَ بالحُسْنِ شَرٌّ
إِنَّ مَحبُوبَتي وَحقِّكَ خيْرُ
