1. The jinn have knocked with their eyes,
Whoever was struck by the human's eye.

2. When he stumbled into eyes, he fell,
And so did my soul stumble in my body.

3. His forehead cracked open and flowed
Blood from it as if it were the warp.

4. My heart cracked it with his forehead,
This one softens and that one hardens.

5. So let lovers believe in me, for indeed
The cover has been removed and confusion dispelled.

6. If the moon did not split for me,
Then I am the one for whom the sun split.
