1. Travel for the feast is bright
Return victorious, and appear

2. Superior over your enemy
Indeed, God's party is dominant

3. And conquer with what pleases
The monotheist and irks the infidel

4. And possess the land, and make it
Inhabited by you and empty of others

5. And may you be great and the small
Be small through you, both weak and strong

6. And through you may the short fall short
When you break them, the breakers

7. And the captives submit to you
When you are addressed from the pulpits

8. Travel safely in God's security
For victory is open to you

9. Take initiative for the likes of you
Are with deeds and initiative

10. Leave the armies for heaven's
Soldiers are your armies

11. And God sufficed you the effort
Of right wing and left flank

12. Visit the Friend for he longs
To see you as a visitor

13. And the Distant Mosque yearns
To look upon you

14. None disobey you therein
Or oppose or show enmity

15. Your servants fear your might
And how much fear excuses them

16. They took cover from their fright
Woe to them! From you, is there a cover?

17. They feared the overwhelming flood
From you - the sea is raging

18. I have a secret passion
And God knows best what's hidden

19. They feared, and the lion did not fool them
That the lion is a deceiver

20. Your command will be obeyed in them
For things have their course

21. And the sword is blunt in
Their palms, and in your palms, sharp

22. They erred only due to their knowledge
That you are the best forgiver

23. And the enormity of your forbearance, it drags
Trails upon the enormities

24. And they are your servants - nothing but your palms
Can discipline them

25. And if they were above the sky
Passages to you would reach them

26. And if they took refuge among stars
The stars from you go astray

27. And time has become incapable
Since you returned able

28. And destiny ruled your taking
The reins from the divine decree

29. You are forgiving of every confusion
And forgiving of every stumbler

30. You are the one whose actions cannot be
Avoided with excuses

31. And the father of sublime deeds, his chest
Is not filled by the greatest sins

32. And you have associated with courage and swords
The kinsfolk are yours

33. And victory is your inheritance from
A father who supported Islam

34. And hearts have obeyed you
And consciences are sincere to you

35. And in love of you, essence and form
Are equal

36. When you possessed our hearts
Secrets flowed in your ways

37. God has a secret in you - it's heard and
Seen through spiritual insight

38. How many nights have you kept alive
While people slept and you stayed wakeful

39. Standing before God therein
While others circulated the cup

40. Yearning like a raging lion
While others wandered blind

41. Spending it travelling
Accompanied, for the traveller's sake

42. On journeys, they do not suffice without them
They are supplies for the traveller

43. Reason's sorcery in speech, and I have come
With every sorcerer

44. And I am the saint, and I have thirsted
For your raining clouds

45. How can your justice be
Oppressive therein, time being unjust

46. And I seek refuge for your glory, that I
Was ungrateful though you brought calamities

47. And if you look at me, you would
Halt the competitor and rival

48. The goal is your nearness - it is the
Best of goals and treasures

49. You honored me absent
And I want that, you being present

50. Nearby, you forget me though
From afar, you remembered me

51. You are the one who without your
Horizons I wouldn't be called a poet

52. You graced me with bounty and so
You matched gems with gems
