We undo the bonds and fetters,

2. And a chase in a fierce onslaught,
Where horses and camels are made lawful prey,

3. And a strife with no truce,
That perplexes Hudhayn and Nafil,

4. You will see me leading a third raid,
To which I will not add sorrow, if it descends,

5. With my scout in its ravines,
Whom I have inspired with hope,

6. A man of melodious voice you would think him
An Arab enamored with singing,

7. Soon a lion will pounce upon your land,
Who lies in wait for days and dynasties,

8. The sword in his hand does not sleep,
And a man is seen in Babylon,

9. The world belongs only to the mighty,
Wherever he utters his word it becomes deed.
