1. Every person has two souls, one noble
And the other which the youth disobeys or obeys
١. لَكُلِّ اِمرِىءٍ نَفسانِ نَفسٌ كَريمَةٌ
وَأُخرى يُعاصيها الفَتى أَو يُطيعُها
2. And your soul intercedes for dew from your souls
When few of the free intercede for it
٢. وَنَفسُكَ مِن نَفسَيكَ تَشفَعُ لِلنَدى
إِذا قَلَّ مِن أَحرارِهِنَّ شَفيعُها
