1. You have brought back to me days of youth
When thorns are plucked from them
١. رَجَعتَ بِهِنَّ دَوامي الصِفا
حِ يُنزَعُ مِنهُنَّ شَوكُ القَنا
2. And you soaked their necks with blood
And weighed down their shoulders with wounds
٢. وَضَمَّختَ أَعناقَها بِالدِما
وَأَوقَرتَ أَكفالَها بِالدُمى
