1. He knew, my Lord, of Your decree, abundantly
Bestow upon him from You a doubled reward

2. He lived obediently.. and died a monotheist
He was never disobedient to the upright law

3. And protect his progeny after him
From the horror of a father's death, shelter them

4. They cry in sorrow for him with eyes
That truly shed tears of blood in grief

5. All beseech with supplication.. answer us
Our Lord, and envelop him with Your kindness

6. And grant him the highest stations in Paradise
And sustain him, O Lord, with ample shade
