١٣. هُوَ كَاظِمٌ لِلْغَيْظِ يَمْلِكَ أَمْرَهُ
وَلِكُلِّ جُرْحٍ كَانَ حَقَّاً بَلْسَمَا

١٤. يَسْعَى لِلَمِّ الشَّمْلِ إِنَّ فُؤَدَاهُ

18. In the best month, and its greatest night
He completed the religious duties

١٨. في خَيْرِ شَهْرٍ بَلْ وَأَفْضَلِ لَيْلَةٍ
قَدْ كَانَ فِيْهَا لِلْفُرُوْضِ مُتَمِّمَا

19. He prayed the night vigil, his heart at rest
Entrusting himself to the Trustworthy, surrendered

١٩. صَلَّى التَّرَاوِيْحَ اسْتَرَاحَ فُؤَادُهُ
لأَمَانَةِ الرَّحْمَنِ كَانَ مُسَلِّمَا

20. Every heart in the island weeps for you
All grieve your death, O beloved, pained

٢٠. تَبْكِيْكَ أَفْئِدَةُ الْجَزِيْرَةِ كُلِّهَا
كُلٌّ لِمَوْتِكَ يَا حَبِيْبُ تَأَلَّمَا

21. Who will lead the people after you have gone?
Who will call the prayer, chanting melodiously?

٢١. مَنْ ذَا يَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ بَعْدَ رَحِيْلِكُمْ
مَنْ ذَا يُؤَذِّنُ شَادِيَاً مُتَرَنِّمَا

22. You left us while our eyes weep blood
Your passing was a painful blow

٢٢. غَادَرْتَنَا وَعُيُوْنُنَا تَبْكِي دَمَاً
فَرَحِيْلُكُمْ قَدْ كَانَ هَوْلاً صَادِمَا

23. You will remain alive in hearts forever
I will remain all my life praying and pleading

٢٣. سَتَظَلُّ حَيَّاً في القُلُوْبِ عَلَى المَدَى
سَأَظَلُّ عُمْرِيَ دَاعِيَاً مُسْتَرْحِمَا

24. O Lord, give him the highest place in Heaven
And make him the guided herald's companion

٢٤. يَا رِبِّ في الجَنَّاتِ أَعْلِ مَقَامَهَ
وَاجْعَلْهُ لِلْهَادِي البَشِيْرِ مُلازِمَا

25. Grant him, O Lord, to see Your Face
And make him, near You, in bliss

٢٥. وَارْزُقْهُ يَا رَبَّاهُ رُؤْيَةَ وَجْهِكُمْ
وَاجْعَلْهُ عِنْدَكَ في الجِنَانِ مُنَعَّمَا

26. You are the refuge, You are the hope
We hope in You, O Lord, so have mercy (on Qasim)

٢٦. أَنْتَ المَلاذُ وَأَنْتَ أَنْتَ المُرْتَجَى
نَرْجُوْكَ يَا رَبَّاهُ فَارْحَمْ (قَاسِمَا)
