1. O my fellow prisoner in the jail of oppression
Will today be like patience, protector?
2. If you strengthen the faith today
You will have proven God's word true in the past
3. You wanted eternity through worldliness, so
Live the life of dignity in the world of nobility
4. Leave those who sold their religion so
They can live aimlessly in the world of scoundrels
5. O brother, victory is in sight, do you see it?
And the hearts of truth behind the clouds?
6. Men stood up for the faith, sacrificing
Their worldly goods and living in hardship
7. So that the faith prevails and light overcomes darkness
And chains are lifted from the oppressed
8. O brother, support our steadfast Islam
Don't worry about the whip or swallowing poison
9. Has the freeman wasted his life in servitude?
Does life increase through the disgrace of servility?!
10. So be a lion when battle rages
And be a towering giant among bodies
11. O brother, do not fear their tyranny
Does faith fear the tyrants?
12. And if we live for a while in darkness
Be like the full moon's light in the night
13. And if a wound hurts us, it will heal
The wounds of disbelief heal through my pains
14. And the wounds of peace bleed for healing
While the wounds of disbelief bleed for destruction
15. So be a light when there is gloom
And strengthen the faith today, protector
