سِمَةُthe mark الصَّبَابَةِof ardent longing زَفْرَةٌa sigh أَوْor عَبْرَةٌa tear
سِمَةُ الصَّبَابَةِ زَفْرَةٌ أَوْ عَبْرَةٌ
مُتَكَفِّلٌresponsible بهماfor them both حَشاًa heart وشُؤونand tear ducts
مُتَكَفِّلٌ بهما حَشاً وشُؤون
The mark of ardent longing is a sigh or a tear;
The trait of youth is a sigh or a tear
The heart and tear ducts are responsible for them both.
With both the ignorant and refined preoccupied
