كأنّما البَيْتُ بِرَيْحَانِهِ
ثَوْبٌa garment مِنَof السُّنْدُسِfine silk مَشْقُوقُtorn
ثَوْبٌ مِنَ السُّنْدُسِ مَشْقُوقُ
It is as though the house, with its sweet basil,
As though the house with its basil
were a torn garment of fine silk.
