يا دارُ دارتْ بك السُّعودُ

يا دارُ دارتْ بك السُّعودُ

كأنها منك تستفيدُ

كأنها منك تستفيدُ

O house, good fortunes have circled around you,

O home, around you prosperity revolves,

As though they draw benefit from you.

As if from you it draws and thrives.

فيكِ من الحُسنِ كلُّ معنى

فيكِ من الحُسنِ كلُّ معنى

يُقَصِّر عن مثله الوُجود

يُقَصِّر عن مثله الوُجود

In you is every aspect of beauty

In you is every meaning of beauty,

Whose like existence fails to attain.

Beyond which existence cannot strive.

فأنتِ بعضُ اقتراحِ مولىً

فأنتِ بعضُ اقتراحِ مولىً

للفضلِ من كَفِّه وُرود

للفضلِ من كَفِّه وُرود

For you are part of a lord’s design,

You are a glimpse of the bounty,

From whose palm bounty comes forth.

Of the Lord whose grace constantly arrives.

لا زال في نعمةٍ وعزٍّ

لا زال في نعمةٍ وعزٍّ

بينهما يهلك الحسود

بينهما يهلك الحسود

May he ever remain in prosperity and honor,

Ever in might and favor he remains,

Between which the envious one perishes.

While jealous men thereby are deprived.

صَوَّره الله للعطايا

صَوَّره الله للعطايا

فطبعُه نَخْوةٌ وجُود

فطبعُه نَخْوةٌ وجُود

God fashioned him to bestow gifts,

God made him the essence of giving,

So his nature is noble pride and generosity.

So his nature is glory and kindness contrived.
