تِهتُمyou vaunted yourselves عَلَيناover us بِأَنَّbecause الذِئبَthe wolf كَلَّمَكُمspoke to you
فَقَدfor indeed لَعَمريby my life أَبوكُمyour father كَلَّمَspoke to الذيباthe wolf
You lorded it over us because the wolf spoke to you.
You worry that the wolf spoke to you,
For, by my life, your father did speak to the wolf.
Yet by my life, your father spoke to the wolf!
فَكَيفَso how لَوif كَلَّمَhe spoke to اللَيثَthe lion الهَصورِthe fierce إِذَنthen
أَفنَيتُمُyou annihilated الناسَthe people مَأكولاًas food وَمَشروباand as drink
So what if he had spoken to the fierce lion? Then
So what if the lion spoke to the timid rabbit?
you would have consumed mankind as food and drink.
Would you then consider people as food and drink?

This Suneidi has no origin or branch,
he speaks to the elephant, upward and downward.
Who speaks to the elephant randomly and aimlessly.

So be off with you, for I never see
So go away, for I shall never see,
at your house’s door a seeker or anyone sought.
At your door, seekers or wanted.
