هُمُthey كَتَبواthey wrote الصَكَّthe writ الَّذيthat قَدalready عَلِمتَهُyou knew it
هُمُ كَتَبوا الصَكَّ الَّذي قَد عَلِمتَهُ
عَلَيكَagainst you وَسَنّواand they sharpened فَوقَabove هامَتِكَthe crown of your head الفَقراpoverty
عَلَيكَ وَسَنّوا فَوقَ هامَتِكَ الفَقرا
They wrote the writ that you already knew,
They wrote the document you know of
against you, and sharpened poverty above your head.
Against you and legislated poverty upon your neck
