إِنَّindeed مَنwhoever ضَنَّbegrudged بِالكَنيفِwith the privy عَلىtoward الضَيthe guest (word continues)
فِ(completes “guest”) بِغَيرِwith anything other than الكَنيفِthe privy كَيفَhow يَجودُhe gives generously
Indeed, one who begrudges the guest the privy—
He who is miserly with the loaf against the guest,
how can he be generous with anything other than the privy?
How can he be generous without the loaf?
ماnot رَأَيناwe have seen وَلاnor سَمِعناwe have heard بِحُشٍّof a latrine
قَبلَbefore هَذاthis لِبابِهِto its door إِقليدُa key
We have never seen or heard of a latrine
We have not seen nor heard of any miserliness
with a key to its door before this.
Before this, for his door an anklet.
إِنif يَكُنthere is فيin الكَنيفِthe privy شَيءٌsomething تَخَبّاyou hide

If there is something in the privy that you hide,
If there is anything hidden in the loaf,
then I have more of it, if you wish.
Then with me, if you wish, is increase for it.
