If you visit him, you find him unassuming,
If you visit him, you will find him to be generous
his bounty dew-fresh, his grounds lush and fertile;
Fresh as the morning dew, lush as meadow grass

slow to do what would distress his friend,
Slow to take offense at what hurts his friend
and swift to do what would grieve the enemy.
And quick to rush to the aid of his foe

He was hurled toward the distant goal of greatness
Lofty aspirations drove him far from the herd
by ambitions that left his path one others follow.
A road less traveled he walked with pride
