هَدايا الناسِ بَعضِهِمُ لِبَعضٍ

هَدايا الناسِ بَعضِهِمُ لِبَعضٍ

تُوَلِّدُ في قُلوبِهِمُ الوِصالا

The gifts people give one another

Foster closeness in their hearts,

وَتودِعُ في الضَميرِ هَوىً وَوُدّاً

وَتودِعُ في الضَميرِ هَوىً وَوُدّاً

وَتَكسوهُم إِذا حَضَروا جَمالا

وَتَكسوهُم إِذا حَضَروا جَمالا

And instill affection and love in the inmost heart,

And clothe them in beauty when they are present.
