وَأَرى النَوالَ يَزينُهُ تَعجيلُهُ

وَأَرى النَوالَ يَزينُهُ تَعجيلُهُ

وَالمَطلُ آفَةُ نائِلِ الوَهّابِ

وَالمَطلُ آفَةُ نائِلِ الوَهّابِ

And I see that a gift is adorned by its prompt bestowal;

I see the gifts adorned by their haste,

And delay is the bane of the generous giver’s bounty.

While delay is the bane of one granted gifts.
