Into tears that my poetry and essence rain.

3. I stay up late with the stars, while the universe sleeps.
It listens to my groans, with longing and affection,

4. As if the night raven descends,
With my soul and heart its two wings.

5. We fold together the dark night's dreams in passion,
And watch for the specter from moment to moment.

6. Gentle is my homeland, for you are the whole universe.
Without you I would be lost and vanishing.

7. My heart is yours, and all the vigor in my body,
And blood, and soul, and flesh and bone.

8. Yours are all lives, and every soul in existence.
Extend to me your hand of loyalty, O light of humankind!
