وَلَم أَدرِ مَن أَلقى عَلَيهِ رِدائَهُ

وَلَم أَدرِ مَن أَلقى عَلَيهِ رِدائَهُ

عَلى أَنَّهُ قَد سُلَّ عَن ماجِدٍ مَحضِ

عَلى أَنَّهُ قَد سُلَّ عَن ماجِدٍ مَحضِ

And I did not know who had cast his cloak over him,

though it had been drawn off a man of unalloyed nobility.
