1. If you are enamored with this lowly world,
Then tell me, who hopes for and longs for the next?

2. And if you seek every generous person,
Why then do you not seek the best of the next?

3. You think that the knowledge you have is most deserving to give,
And you give what does not make you free of need over the impactful,

4. And you leave the market of knowledge unsuccessful among the people,
With its seekers in the darkness of ignorance like captives.

5. So stand and establish a market of spreading knowledge,
A banner by which your Lord of the heavens commanded you.

6. By the life of Allah, the greatest proof,
Upon you when you intend the day of recompense an excuse.

7. So take from me, O clean named one, advice,
I have been sincere secretly and I have been sincere openly.
