1. The heart of the peninsula beats in your right hand,
And the passion of Arabism shines on your forehead,

2. By the glory of the Muslims, you are in their eyes,
A shining hope, most beloved and ardent.

3. They have given you their hearts and allegiance,
And you have given them glory that hearts revere and love.

4. Arabia’s east, west, north and south,
Are a forbidden realm with your graceful face.

5. You have unified it and breathed into its regions,
A spirit with which to love the country and free it.

6. That even rocks would walk humbled before you,
Unable to behold your unmatched nobility.

7. Tell me, by your Lord, which hand have you raised,
To pave a path never tread by others before you?

8. With what resolve did you rise up alone,
While sleep weighed heavy on Arabia’s eyelids?

9. You brandished a sharp sword at the tyrants,
Tearing apart their traces as they were torn apart.

10. And you vanquished the brute of injustice, guiding him,
As the sword guides the ignorant and verifies.

11. With this you gave security to pilgrims, helping them understand,
That the pilgrimage is a spiritual calling, not a coercion.

12. You tore down every despised doctrine,
With which minds were misled and burdened.

13. You held your head high among kingdoms
With a free reign and harmonious system,

14. Until discord grew, and they attempted
To persuade you, flattering with pretense and fawning.

15. You disappointed them and whispered in their ears,
That Arabia is an inviolable forest.

16. And you built around the Sacred House and Holy Guidance,
A fortress with locks of celestial bodies.

17. What misguided man in his pretenses,
Until we see him lost in misery engrossed?

18. Seeking to set himself on fire, assuming,
That others besides him are set ablaze?

19. We lament that civilization should witness,
Its own collapse, but we do not distinguish.

20. For in our reawakening and past glory,
We have an honor to gain if they should fail.

21. Ask them about the light we brought,
With which they saw the dawn and were illuminated.

22. We secured the lands, and our resolve was unshaken,
Until its west and east shone bright.

23. The weak were fortunate with our compassion, but when,
They ruled the weak with their dominion, they showed no mercy.

24. We are more virtuous than them in ideals,
And more deserving than them to rise and be dignified.

25. If their misguided hammers should crush the world,
We have free lands that cannot be crushed.

26. We will shine with knowledge if they are ignorant,
For the east is more richly endowed with illumination and grace.

27. And life, if not for the covetous, would be easy,
And glory, if not for the envious, would be achieved.

28. Our souls that aspired with our ancestors,
Remain undiminished, nay only firmer and more zealous.

29. For we have tasted bitter cups,
That they did not drink or savor.

30. And today the time has come for us to part,
And for our peoples to know that parting is ruinous.

31. The elegant pretense of dreams is dispelled,
Exposing the bitter reality, graceless and unembellished.

32. With rights usurped and infringed upon,
And promises deceitful and untrustworthy.

33. With the lands giving birth to a savior,
More knowing in delivering nations and more prudent.

34. You granted him the lofty steps to your horizons,
Rising with his resolve that cannot be outstripped.

35. And he ascended to a Throne that takes refuge in its Pillar,
From a people who supported the True Faith and were sincere.

36. They knew that God guards His House,
Choosing in it whom He wills and creates.

37. There will come a day when the people of guidance,
Will thrive with their lofty heritage that cannot be matched.

38. In the shade of God's House beneath His Standard,
Rising with His Law that cannot be erased.

39. Marching together in unison, unbending,
Against the storms of worldly life, unfragmented.

40. Lead with resolve, O Abdulaziz,
Of a people who love loftiness and passion.

41. And live immortalized in the hearts’ Throne, supported,
With a people around your Throne bountiful and giving.

42. To you, O Lion of Arabia, a throbbing,
From a heart overflowing that pulsates for you.

43. My laments carried their burdens,
And the verses hastened to you, outpacing.

44. Yemeni, Meccan, Najdi,
Say what you will, they make no distinction.
