Praise be to God for Ibrahim—what a singer!
Abraham praises God with singing voice
He stirs the heart with melodies.
Stirring hearts with melodious tones
شكرناwe thanked أصواتthe sounds نغيماتهhis little tunes
شكرنا أصوات نغيماته
سمعاًby listening فنستغنيand so we have no need عنof ألحانِmelodies
سمعاً فنستغني عن ألحانِ
We thanked the sounds of his little tunes
Our thanks to his song's sweet measures
by listening, and so need no other melodies.
Hearing them we need no other sounds
