ليلةone night بتّI spent the night اشكوI complain of الرشحthe runny nose منfrom ضررharm
حتىuntil فنيتI was worn out وحالand changed الحالthe condition وانساباand streamed
One night I spent complaining of the harm of a runny nose,
A night I complained of the runny nose's harm
Until I was worn out, my condition changed, and it streamed on.
Until I was exhausted, the state became a state, and it flowed
لوif اترشحI have a cold ياO هذاyou there فقلتthen I said لهمto them
لاno بلrather ولكنbut إنفيmy nose صارbecame ميزاباa waterspout
If I have a cold, you there—then I said to them:
If I had a runny nose and said to them
No, but rather my nose has become a waterspout.
No, but my nose has become a water spout
كأنas though عينيmy eye عينa spring الماءthe water فيin هطلa downpour
وصارand became انفيmy nose دلوa bucket الماءthe water صبّاباpouring profusely
As though my eye were a spring of water in a downpour,
It's as if my eyes were a water fountain in pouring rain
And my nose has become a water bucket, pouring profusely.
And my nose became a bucket pouring water
