Indeed, Bashir, whom time has generously bestowed,
The bringer of good tidings, whom time has generously bestowed,
has attained eminence through glory, beneficence, and kindness.
Has excelled in glory, grace, and kindness,
بداappeared عذارcheek-down البهاbeauty فيin سعدauspiciousness طلعتهhis countenance
بدا عذار البها في سعد طلعته
يحكيresembles أساطيرwritten lines بسمin the name of اللهGod فيin الصحفthe pages
يحكي أساطير بسم الله في الصحف
Beauty's cheek-down appeared in his auspicious countenance,
The fragrance of joy appeared in the felicity of his ascent,
resembling the written lines of 'In the name of God' on the pages.
Relating legends that begin "In the name of God" in scripture,
اللهGod عظمهexalted him قدراin rank وجملّهand beautified him
الله عظمه قدرا وجملّه
أرخrecord the date زوينهadorned him فيin حليةan ornament الشرفhonor
أرخ زوينه في حلية الشرف
God exalted him in rank and made him beautiful;
God has made him great in estimation and adorned him,
Record the date: 'He adorned him with the ornament of honor.'
