حيّ داراً للمعالي

أصبحت خير مقام

Alive is the abode of glories

It has become the best dwelling

دار يعال الذي

شيدها بدر الكرام

The abode raised by the full moon of the generous

Neither like Tripoli nor can it be blamed

ولا طرابلسٍ الفيحا

ءِ وال لا يضام

The generous Mustafa, righteous

The revered protector

الكريم المصطفى البرّ

المكرّم الهمام

May God increase its prosperity

As it rises with a smile

زادها اللَه سعوداً

تتسامى بابتسام

May its owner be supported with victory

And may He reward with a good end

دام مولاها بنصرٍ

وجزى حسن الختام

Through it history is recited

Enter it in peace

وبها التاريخ يُتلى

ادخلوها بسلام
