لكل ملاءٍ لاح سر علومكم

لكل ملاءٍ لاح سر علومكم

كدرٍ وأعطاك الإله سموّ

كدرٍ وأعطاك الإله سموّ

For every gathering, the secret of your knowledge shone forth,

like pearls; and God granted you eminence.

وعلمك سام للسماك ملألاء

وعلمك سام للسماك ملألاء

ولا حمد الا صاح هاك علوّ

ولا حمد الا صاح هاك علوّ

And your knowledge is lofty, glittering toward al-Simāk.

And no praise but cries out: “Here, take exaltation!”
