رعى اللَه مصراً إن مصراً لجنةٌ
يزولvanishes بهاin it عنfrom صاحبthe bearer of الهمsorrow همهhis sorrow
يزول بها عن صاحب الهم همه
May God protect Egypt, for Egypt is truly a paradise.

In it the worries of the anxious fade away
ففيfor in جنةthe garden of الفردوسParadise رضوانRidwan وحدهalone
ففي جنة الفردوس رضوان وحده
وفيand in مصرEgypt رضوانRidwan كذاكlikewise وأمهand his mother
وفي مصر رضوان كذاك وأمه
For in the garden of Paradise is Ridwan alone,
For in the Garden of Paradise there is only contentment
And in Egypt, likewise, are Ridwan and his mother.
And in Egypt there is such contentment as well
