فكم درّ من البحر
And if it were with a jewel,
Even if it is a pearl
then how many pearls come from the sea!
How many pearls from the sea
كماjust as قدindeed جاءhe came فيin عجبwonder
كما قد جاء في عجب
يصيغhe fashions الدرthe pearls منfrom حبرink
يصيغ الدر من حبر
Just as he has indeed come, wondrously,
As it is said in wonder
fashioning pearls from ink.
