بزورة كوكب الشرف البشير

And a garden shone with honor and beauty

A garden, its blossoms honor and beauty,

At a visit from Bashir, the star of honor.

With the bright star of glory, Venus, arrayed,

حللناهُ فماس الغصن عزّاً

حللناهُ فماس الغصن عزّاً

ومال مقبلاً ذيلٌ الأمير

ومال مقبلاً ذيلٌ الأمير

We alighted there, so the branch swayed in pride

We entered and the boughs swayed gently, bowing,

And bent to kiss the prince’s hem.

And bent their trailing skirts like a prince's train.
