Ah, how my heart burns for a gracefully swaying gazelle!
My brother is like a young deer, his heart aflutter,
His smiling mouth parts to reveal the like of what is in the cup.
Revealing through his smile what’s in his cup.

لكعبة الحسن ركنٌ خالهُ فإذا
تعذّرَproves impossible اللثمkissing بالإيماءِwith a gesture نلثمهُwe kiss it
تعذّرَ اللثم بالإيماءِ نلثمهُ
The Kaaba of beauty has a corner—his beauty mark; so when
For the shrine of beauty he's a precious corner -
kissing proves impossible, we kiss it with a gesture.
If kissing is denied, we blow a kiss to the beloved one.
