باب بسعد بشيره

شهب المعالي قد رقت

شهب المعالي قد رقت

A gate—through its Bashir’s good fortune,

the bright stars of glory have risen.

وعلى علاه أرخوا

وعلى علاه أرخوا

دارٌ بجودٍ أشرقت

دارٌ بجودٍ أشرقت

And upon its lofty height, inscribe the date:

“A house has shone with generosity.”
