A grave where Ali rests—he was the finest young man,

From youth until the end of his allotted span.

And for the two most noble sanctuaries he was, with

Great skill, an interpreter of word and deed.

He spent his life obeying his Creator; and whoever

Met death attained the finest hope.

He is mourned, yet to death comes

Every son of woman; this is plain and clear.

When his allotted term ended, his chronogram was:

Indeed, Ali has ascended to all the gardens of bliss.
