A gazelle from the Rum—his charms have declared:
A gazelle from Rome, her beauty was praised
“God is greatest! Beauty is not among the Arabs.”
God is Greater, beauty is not limited to Arabs

And he swayed, turning; his curves declared:
Turning, admiring her cloak, she said
“How much wonder lies beneath a turn of the Rum gazelle!”
