لماwhen حكىresembled الغصنthe bough الرطيبsupple قوامهُhis figure
لما حكى الغصن الرطيب قوامهُ
أضحىhe became يميسhe sways بحلةin a robe الأغصانِthe boughs
أضحى يميس بحلة الأغصانِ
When his figure mirrored the supple bough,
When his figure resembled the supple bough,
He began to sway, wearing the boughs’ attire.
