My lord, O one who has risen high

My Master, O You who have reached

with the adornments of generosity and courage,

The height of magnanimity and courage

وسمت محامده التي

وسمت محامده التي

بنباهة زانت طباعه

بنباهة زانت طباعه

and whose virtues have soared—those that

Your praised attributes that

adorned his character with distinction—

With brilliance adorned your nature

وأزاح عن وجه الثنا

وأزاح عن وجه الثنا

بيدي مكارمه قناعه

بيدي مكارمه قناعه

and who removed from the face of praise

And removed from the face of praise

its veil with the two hands of his noble deeds,

With Your generous hands a veil

وغدا أمين سيادةٍ

وغدا أمين سيادةٍ

وعلى المعالي مدّ باعه

وعلى المعالي مدّ باعه

and became a trusted guardian of authority,

And became the trustworthy of a realm

and extended his reach over the heights:

And for the glories extended its poles

فاشمل عبيدك منعماً

فاشمل عبيدك منعماً

من عام بذلكمُ بساعه

من عام بذلكمُ بساعه

so graciously embrace your servants

So include Your slaves as graced

with an hour from a year of your generosity.

From a year with that extended its duration
