إن وقت الانس دارك
O cupbearer, pass it round.

For the hour of merriment is at hand.
For the time of companionship in your abode is short.
واسقنيand give me to drink بالطفلby the child صرفاًunmixed wine
واسقني بالطفل صرفاً
إنماindeed الطفلthe child مباركblessed
إنما الطفل مبارك
And, by the child, pour me unmixed wine.
Serve me pure wine with a ladle,
The child is indeed blessed.
For surely wine is a blessing.
