للَّه بستان أنسٍ ساد مرتفعاً

مذ حلّ فيه بشير المجد ذي العظم

How wondrous a garden of delight, supreme and lofty,

Our Lord has a garden of intimacy that rose high

Since Bashir of mighty glory settled within it.

Since the herald of glory settled in it

وقام ينشد والأغصان راقصةٌ

وقام ينشد والأغصان راقصةٌ

يا مرحباً بمفيض الخير والنعمِ

يا مرحباً بمفيض الخير والنعمِ

And it rose to chant, while the branches danced:

And stood reciting while the branches danced

Oh, welcome to him who pours forth goodness and blessings!

Welcome O source of good and bounty

شرفت شرفت إذ وافيت بدر هدى

شرفت شرفت إذ وافيت بدر هدى

قد حفّ في أنجم تمحو دجى الظلم

قد حفّ في أنجم تمحو دجى الظلم

You honored me, you honored me, when you arrived, a full moon of guidance,

It has been honored, honored since you came O moon of guidance

Indeed surrounded by stars that dispel the gloom of darkness.

Surrounded by stars that erase the gloom of darkness

خليل مجد أمين الفضل حيدرنا

خليل مجد أمين الفضل حيدرنا

رب الثنا حسن الأخلاق والشيمِ

رب الثنا حسن الأخلاق والشيمِ

Our Haydar, glory’s close friend and virtue’s keeper,

The intimate friend of the glory, the trustee of virtue, our Haydar

Lord of praise, fine in character and disposition.

Lord of praise, of excellent character and morals

قد زاره السعد لما زرتم شرفاً

قد زاره السعد لما زرتم شرفاً

واخصبت أرضه بالجود والكرم

واخصبت أرضه بالجود والكرم

Good fortune indeed visited him when you graced him with your visit,

Good fortune has visited it since you honored it with your visit

And his land grew fertile through bounty and generosity.

And its land flourished with generosity and nobility
